AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN THE MIDWEST AND NEW ENGLAND REGIONS. Star! Her name definitely suits her! She is the star of her own little comedy show and will be of yours too. Star is a young energetic girl, about 1yr old and is on the petite side. She weighs about 45 lbs. Star looks very Shepard in appearance and we believe her to be a Shepard mixed with maybe lab. Her ears are pointing most of the time in which the pictures do not reflect, but beautiful she is!!!! She really is just a stunning little comedian and we love her to pieces. She has a very bright funny personality and is always ready to go do something entertaining! Whether that is running, hiking, playing, swimming, or whatever else her family has in store. Star is a dominant female, but makes friends quickly. She LOOOOOOVVVES to play with her foster siblings and can’t wait to get out there and give them all a run for their money. Though she has some dominance, she actually gets along well with other dominant females, and on occasion has backed down to a bossy foster sister! We laughed at her but please don’t tell her that, she still thinks she is the big cheese. She will do well with an active family with older respectful children. She can be cat tested if needed. Star is crate trained, working on house manners, takes treats nicely, knows how to sit (when she wants) and is just ok on lead. She will need obedience training and her new family will need to have dog experience, as she may be too much for a first time dog owner. This bright little entertainer will keep you laughing as she has such a zest for life. She knows no bounds. She is loving and playful and will be a great family member for some lucky family that is suited for her antics. Star is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is micro chipped and kept on frontline and heart guard. If you want to laugh and be entertained, please complete an adoption application and request her one the notes section.
